Electronic Arts faces federal lawsuit for alleged violations against consumers

Class Action

As of today, an official lawsuit is in effect against the leading producer of sports games for video game consoles.  Electronic Arts, also known as EA Sports, is being sued for allegedly violating California's antitrust and consumer protection laws that were created to prevent inflation and the overpricing of products.  Consumers claim the company was involved in anti-competitive agreements that were considered unlawful.  EA is accused of selling games to consumers for as much as double the price that they should have been sold for.
