Electric Daisy Carnival weekend breakdown

It's back and it's brilliant, The Electric Daisy Carnival takes over the city through Sunday. Didn't get your ticket on time? You can get a taste of the fantastic music festival at a few clubs in town and take advantage of some style deals to at least look the part of an EDC ticket holder.

Swedish duo Icona Pop will pop in to the Hard Rock Hotel’s Rehab Saturday. They will walk a red carpet at 3:30 p.m. before taking the poolside stage to perform their hits, including “I Love It." The following day, dubstep producer Flux Pavilion continues the EDC excitement with an exclusive DJ set. Tickets to Icona Pop start at $20 for ladies and $40 for men. Tickets to Flux Pavilion’s DJ set start at $30 for ladies and $50 for men.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Boulevard Pool is always a fantastic place for sound during any big festival, and they are putting in some new moves for the EDC crowd. Dash Berlin delivered an electric performance as part of the Set Your Life to Music series at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Boulevard Pool to kick off EDC festivities Thursday night. Presented in conjunction with Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, the show opened with sounds from KYGO who entertained the audience, spinning classic beats like Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing.” Next up, Marquee resident Dash Berlin took over the turntables on the mophie stage for an epic performance that served as fans’ kickoff to EDC weekend. The crowd could not help but dance to the DJ’s eclectic set, which included popular tracks such as W&W’s “Bigfoot,” “Waiting for the Sun & Moon” and “Steal You Away,” Dash Berlin’s track with Alexander Popov featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn. The show served as the closing party for the 3rd Annual EDMBiz Conference and Expo that was held at the resort earlier this week.

Tonight at 10 p.m. Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay turns in to Eclipse at Night with a special guest DJ set to perform in honor of the EDC weekend.

Get your EDC accessories, clip-in colored hair extensions, feather and crystal eye lashes, sequined eye glitter, light up glasses, colored thigh-high socks and more at the Halloween Mart pop-up inside Look Style Society in Town Square Las Vegas. While you are there, take advantage of the EDC special upgrades, including a blowout to include clip-in colored hair extensions starting at $15 at Sam Villa’s HairShow Blowout Bar and upgrade makeup applications that includes feather and crystal eyelashes starting at $15.

PBR Rock Bar & Grill will have Electric Daisy Carnival attendees raving about its frozen drink specials this June. Located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the Strip-side hot spot will offer aptly-named selections from its famed daiquiri bar from through Sunday.

PBR Rock Bar will offer a variety of PLUR-fect frozen drink creations, such as mango-flavored ‘Headliner,’ strawberry-flavored ‘Red Raver,’ blue raspberry-flavored ‘Under the Electric Sky,’ ‘Daisy’ blended margarita, ‘PLUR Passion’ blended hurricane, or a multi-colored mix of all flavors, ‘Rainbow.’ EDC revelers can enjoy their frozen drinks in a variety of PBR souvenir cups, starting at $17.
