Electric Daisy Carnival NYC goers will be having a ball in Citi Field, home of the New York Met’s in Queens, New York. In contrast to last years festival which took place in New Jersey, this years EDC NYC will actually be taking plan on New York soil. The inspiration to move from the swamps of The Meadow Lands in New Jersey to the City of Queens comes as little surprise to New York sports fans. After the New York Jets dismal .375 win percentage this year in the NFL, Insomniac decided to dissociate themselves with team’s stadium in hopes that their fans wouldn’t feel the bad vibes coming from the stadium. They chose City Field, where the Met’s posted a respectable .457 win percentage nearly a full .1 higher. Seeing as the Yankees posted a .586 maybe EDC NYC next year will be in Yankee Stadium? Who knows, for now we know that New Yorker’s and folks from around the country and perhaps the world will be descending upon Citi Field for an unforgettable two days in May.
The Show will be taking place May 17th and 18th. Tickets go on sale Friday February 8th at 12Pm EST. Two-day general admission tickets will initially be priced at $159 with VIP tickets selling at $299 before service fees. A layaway pricing option will be available. A limited number of single-day tickets will be available for this two-day experience at a later date. Minimum age for VIP is 21 and older.
