Elections 2010: The offices up for grabs in Fresno County

Here is a detailed list, by general office, as posted by the Fresno County Clerk/Registrar of Voters. The page can be viewed here.

Federal offices being chosen this election day included all Valley Congressional districts, as well as one of the United States Senate seats, held by Barbara Boxer.

State legislative offices that may find themselves with new office holders included State Senate districts 14 and 16, as well as Assembly districts 29,30, and 31. Assemblyman Villines of the 29th district and Assemblyman Arambula of the 31st district.

Statewide executive offices on the ballot included the office of Governor, of which current governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is termed out. Other statewide offices included that of Secretary of State, State Controller, and the Attorney General, among others.

Fresno County has many offices to be filled this election as well. A few County Supervisor positions will be decided, as well as the County Assessor/Recorder, County Auditor/Controller, County Clerk/Registrar, DA, Coroner, County Sheriff, and the County Superintendent of Schools.

The City will also be deciding five City Council seats, representing Districts 1,3,5,7.
