Elections 2010: Get passionate, find your voice.

According to many political professionals, finding an issue or concern is paramount to involvement in the political process, whether one is a candidate or a citizen. Finding something one cares deeply about will create a sense of purpose, and ultimately provide a goal.

Once a passion is found, and a desire for change expressed, research is the next step. Thankfully, most of the research can be down from the comfort of one's own home on the internet.

Issues are an important part of politics. Political parties are established on platforms, made up of planks, or that particular party's stance and or resolution of an issue. Candidates also subscribe to platforms although are usually more localized level, and conform to their respected party more or less.

After an issue, or more issues are found, the time has come to choose (or not) a political party)
