'Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' DLC gets firm release dates for Playstation 3 owners

It's been a long, long road for downloadable "Skyrim" content to make it's way to the PS3. To put it into perspective, "Skyrim" has been out well over a year, with the Xbox 360 receiving DLC for the game last year.

Playstation 3 owners unfortunately have been left with nothing, with Bethesda scrambling to figure out why the DLC has issues working on Playstation 3 consoles. To the companies credit, they didn't give up on the game and PS3 players, hopefully PS3 players didn't give up on them.

Bethesda this morning confirmed the release date for three different DLC packs for "Skyrim" on the Playstation 3. First up with Dragonborn, with a release date of February 12. The second DLC, Hearthfire, will drop on February 19. The final DLC, Dawnguard, will launch on February 26.

Bethesda didn't announce how much the DLC will cost, but they did say during the week of each DLC's launch, it'll be discounted to have off. That's a fairly good way to take the sting out of having to wait so long.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is currently available for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
