Elder Scrolls Online release date summary

The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be the first MMORPG released by Bethesda and is due to release sometime this year (probably this holiday season). It’s unknown what type of payment system (if any) Elder Scrolls Online will have. [Pikmin 3 is coming out for the Wii U this year]

So far The Elder Scrolls online has a trailer and Beta Signup; in other words the game is still an invite-only Beta. Beta registration began back at the end of January.

The Elder Scrolls Online will debut only for the PC; however, the idea of a console release isn’t completely off the table. Bethesda might release the game for the next-gen of consoles this holiday season, but whether or not they do that is completely unknown.

This installment of the Elder Scrolls series is going to be one of the most anticipated game releases of this year. So far Bethesda has only released The Elder Scrolls for consoles, as well as following a very strict one player only rule. It’s interesting to see them make such a huge jump from one-player only games to an MMORPG, yet it’s a great decision none the less.

Hopefully if we’re lucky we’ll see the game come out just in time for the holiday season of this year, 2013.
