El Sportivo & The Blooz is a collective of rotating artists led by Daron Hollowell and Lewis Pesacov of Fool’s Gold. Their debut album, Nights & Weekends, is out February 26th on Black/White Iris and provides a fresh veneer to the tried and true blues rock formula, in addition to being mixed at the Ed Shed (Edward Sharpe’s studio).
The Blooz collective will be performing at Origami Vinyl on February 20th at 7 pm and at El Cid on February 21st, also at 7 pm, to celebrate the release of their debut album, Nights & Weekends. Because Daron Hollowell resides in New York and Lewis Pesacov is in LA with the rest of the Fool's Gold crew, this is an unprecedented live performance you won't want to miss.
