El Capitan Theater all 'Tangled' up early this morning

Nov 24, 2010 - Nearly filled to capacity, the gorgeous El Capitan Theater, in Hollywood, buzzed with people already by 5.30 am this morning.  The 1,600 seats were taken by fans who got up early in response to Disney's invitation to be first to watch its 50th animated movie, released to theaters everywhere today - Tangled

Tangled is the story of Rapunzel, the princess of the long, long, hair who was kept away in a tower.  But Disney's version is meant to appeal to more than only your young princesses at home.  This Rapunzel has a powerful head of hair that can get her out of trouble, punish her enemies and cure her friends.  This spirited princess will be liked also by your action and adventure loving boys.

Proving that Disney knows what it is doing, by 6 am those inside El Capitan had been served coffee and donuts and were watching a live show by several singing Disney characters (yes, Mickey and Minnie themselves!) on stage.  But above the courtesies, the true proof that Tangled is a great 3D movie was in the laughter and the clapping of three theater levels full of young and old kids-at-heart, who soon forgot how early and cold it was outside.
