One of your very favorite malls – Montgomery Mall – has recently announced the addition of eight new retailer as part of the mall’s redevelopment project. The redevelopment project began in early 2014 and is projected to be completed next year.
Trendy fashion retailers such as Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, and global footwear retailer Clarks are expected to open in time for Holiday 2014. Zoë’s Kitchen, a casual restaurant offering naturally healthy Mediterranean meals will also open in time for Holiday 2014.
Additionally store opening will continue into 2015. Among these additional store openings are Justice & Brothers, a clothing and accessories store for tween girls and boys ages 7-14, and Grub Burger Bar, a casual burger joint. Grub Burger bar stays true to its Texas roots with bold flavors, homemade sauces, “scratch baked” buns, and certified Angus chuck and brisket ground daily in-house.
Other than new retailers, Montgomery Mall’s multimillion-dollar redevelopment project will establish a new children’s play are, make improvements to the escalator, and upgrade lighting.
Jack Fazio, Montgomery Mall Manager commented on the mall’s redevelopment initiatives. “It’s a very exciting time for Montgomery Mall and we’re thrilled to announce this diverse mix of incoming retailers and restaurants. Through the redevelopment project we are able to expand out mix of shopping and entertainment experiences to better meet the needs of our growing community.”
Montgomery Mall is a pioneer of supporting the surrounding community’s needs. In November 2013, the mall welcomed a 126,000-square-foot Wegmans grocery store. Opening this store created nearly 500 jobs for locals.
In recent years, the mall has also welcomed Francesca’s, Spencer’s Gifts, Street Corner News, and VisionWorks.
