Two weeks ago, eight dogs were dumped on the road by someone driving a white van in Long Beach, Calif.

Via Facebook

The stunned individual who witnessed the callous act of cruelty was so shocked that they did not get a license plate number for the vehicle - they did capture a grainy photo of the helpless dogs left standing on the dark roadway.

Animal control officers were contacted and eventually, all of the dogs were captured and taken to the animal control facility in Long Beach where their future is, at best, uncertain.

The dogs are not well socialized - the are understandably frightened and confused - and they are out of time.

Tragically, it appears that the dogs were "born to die" thanks to their cruel owner who dumped them like trash on the street.

Please take a moment to network on the behalf of the lost souls - they have no one in their corner, aside from strangers.
