  3. Jobs drops its writer's compensation program

For many writers living in the Denver area, was a great way to telecommute by writing "how to" articles. As of today, eHow announced that it will no longer offer its writer's compensation program. Writers will now need to apply to Demand Studios to be approved. Demand Studios will give accepted writers the opportunity to write for eHow or one of their partner sites. All submitted articles will be reviewed by Demand Studio's editorial staff.

Articles that have been written to date by community members will still earn compensation. Some authors are being sent emails that state they will automatically be accepted as writers for Demand Studios. Anyone else is encouraged to apply.
