In case you were unaware, eHarmony had a discrimination complaint filed against them in 2005 by a gay man in New Jersey who was upset that he was not welcome to use the site. As part of the settlement, eHarmony was forced to create a separate-but-equal site. Today, they launched Compatible Partners, which will use the eHarmony personality test to match gay singles seeking long-term relationships.
The first 10,000 to register at Compatible Partners will receive a free 6-month membership. After that, fees are the same as eHarmony, ranging from $19.95 to $59.95 depending on your package (no pun intended!).

What irks me most is the disclaimer in the lower left of the screen. Here's a close-up:

I can understand them pointing out that they didn't research gay couples, but honestly, people are people. What makes two people get along for the long haul has nothing to do with whether they have the same or opposite plumbing.
I'm curious to see how well the site does. If I were gay, I'd join just for the 6 months free. Might as well, right?
