Ego Can Lead To Healing

The law of observation is a key factor in living consciously.  Science theorized over 100-years ago that through watching or observing an experiment the observer can change the outcome of the experiment.

Why is this possible? Today, it has been proven that the observer adds energy to the experiment, either vibratory, frequency, light, heat, and many other factors even when not located in the same room. This is because the human body including the brain emits off waves of energy in the aforementioned forms through thought, emotions and beliefs. The energy can affect the experiment.

We see it everyday in coaching. The observer can affect the outcome of an event through their intent or expectation. Here is an example how our thoughts through a beliefs affect reality.

The belief "I can't have anything nice". This belief was brought to the observer’s awareness through a coaching module called Words Create Your Reality.

A common complaint for the client was they acquire something of monetary value, and then an event will happen that ruins the object. With the clients' permission we will demonstrate the process through the following example.

"I have an exercise ball used for physical therapy to relieve my neck tension. I keep it on my dresser. One morning I woke up to see my roommates dog chewing on it. Of course it was my responsibility to take care of my things, but is that where my thoughts went? No. Immediately I yelled at the dog and stomped my foot in a huff. I walked away shaking my head and saying 'I can't have anything nice'. Damn Dog!

After calming down, I realized my ego was in play in that moment. I patted the dog and played fetch with him with his new doggie toy. I realized I set the whole thing up to become aware of my self-sabotaging behavior.  I created this scenario as a self-sabotaging example of an old belief that I want to remove from my language.

This is what I remembered after I yelled at the dog and reaffirmed that 'I can't have anything nice.' Remember I kept the ball on my dresser. Earlier in the week I chose to put my laundry on the dresser knocking the ball onto the floor. I heard it drop, but didn't pick it up. That is how I set it up. I used the retraining the brain method in your workshop to change my language and actions. Now I say 'I care for my things'. I watched how my actions transformed my life!"

This one change in the client’s perception created a whole different outlook in their reality. Now they choose to care for the things they value. Which of course was their choice all along. They were not consciously acting as though they had a choice. Silly? No, this is how we unconsciously create our reality. Whenever we think the world is against us, we can realize this is ego. This awareness can lead to healing.

I'd like to share that through the Living Consciously in an Ego Driven Society workshop, I became aware of sub-conscious ways I was effecting my reality, once aware, the conscious choice to do something about it was easy, and then there are action items to secure success. I have learned to forgive, love and move on to celebrate today... and happily dreaming/planning/executing my reality for tomorrow. The best thing I learned is that I'm perfect... in that everything I experience is perfect for me, Thus He will never give me more than I can handle. I learned to forgive myself, learn from it, decide and make better choices... and love myself. When I truly love myself, I truly love others ... balance, effectiveness, respecting my/others experiences, best interest of all, tuning in... etc. Truly, a more Conscious Life! Thank you Karen and Sean!
