However, one growing niche in the marketing world that is becoming very sought after by graduates with a degree in Marketing is the area of consulting. What makes this career choice so rewarding is the fact that individuals as well as companies are constantly seeking experts in the field of marketing in order to receive professional advice and guidance about ways to improve their visibility, attract new customers and how to expand their campaigns. An additional perk is that for the marketing consultants with a strong reputation and proven track record, clients are often willing to pay hefty hourly rates for consulting services.

A prime example of an individual that has managed to do well in this area is Neil Patel, one of the co-founders of Quick Sprout, which is a blog dedicated to sharing effective ways companies and individuals can get the results they want through digital marketing and other business related strategies. Many successful marketing consultants have the luxury of working from home, which means the ability to create their own schedules, as well as the flexibility to pick and choose who they want to work with.
