The world traveler and curator of eyewear brings a collection that is areflection of Edward’s continuous journey to gain knowledge and experience cultures. His recent travels took him to Iceland, where the lush landscape, beautiful waterfalls and the exciting hues of the Artic night sky, contributed to the vibrant colors of the collection.
The Spring 2014 collection features new colors - radiant sunset, arctic daybreak and rustic shadow – that paired with minimalist flare and Edward’s retro styling of the 50’s and 60’s gave way to the new 1932, 1957, 1958, 1966 and 1968. These state-of-the-art new frames are the perfect combination of design, great fit and comfort. Handmade by artisans in the French Alps, they will be manufactured in small, limited quantities and will be available in both prescription and sunglasses. As in previous years, this collection is exclusively available at all Edward Beiner Purveyor of Fine Eyewear boutiques. These styles are also available in sunwear.
Always at the forefront of innovation and style, Edward Beiner Purveyor of Fine Eyewear is pleased to announce the launch of Ottica Su Misura by Edward Beiner, a unique new approach to eyewear shopping that will allow customers to custom design their frames. Edward Beiner customers, with the help of a design consultant, will be able to choose from an array of shapes, color, materials to create their very own eyewear design to reflect their personal style.
The designs will then be sent to an atelier manufacturer in Italy who will produce the one-of-a kind piece. Customers will also have the opportunity to choose to add any decorative monogram or application to their eyewear. The entire process will take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks and will cost approximately $800.00 for the frames.
The Ottica Su Misura Trunk will travel throughout Edward Beiner stores and it is currently located in the Merrick Park Store.
