Edric, Spymaster of Trest is a blue/green elf rogue legend making his debut in Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming Commander set. Edric is truly designed for multiplayer Magic, and can cause your table to erupt in a deluge of diplomacy for a mere 3 mana. Skullbriar was spoiled by raccon82 on the MTGSalvation forums.

Legendary Creature – Elf Rogue Rare
Whenever a creature deals combat damage to one of your opponents, its controller may draw a card.

Edric is likely featured in the “Devour for Power” black/green/blue Commander Deck where there’s likely to be small creatures to take advantage of his ability, it’s possible he may be in the blue/red/green “Mirror Mastery” package.
Edric is a regular table party animal, and will have your friends ready to both embrace him and want to have him assassinated depending on how the board looks on any given turn.
Not only does Edric turn your token army into a massive card drawing engine, some of your foes may actually spend spells protecting your greedy elf if looks like he’ll be helping them refuel their own hands.
There are plenty of Commander cards that can light up a table, but they’re usually more expensive to play than Edric, who will have immediate effects with his entrance. If you choose to field Edric as your General, you can build a whole deck around his ability – and it’s one worth building around.
