On July 12, 2011 at 9:30 am, the Edison and Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida is a fun family form of entertainment.
One of Thomas Edison's true successes, like that of his friend Henry Ford, was in his ability to maximize profits through establishment of mass-production systems and intellectual property rights.
That and more can be learned about both Edison and Ford at their Winter Estates in Fort Myers, and its paid staff and volunteers help keep the Winter Estates functioning and enjoyable for all visitors.
One can join the Estates curatorial staff and learn about the new Estates Museum exhibit, “Into the Wild: Edison, Ford & Friends” as well as volunteer opportunities, policies and general Estates volunteer information.
This is a regular monthly volunteer meeting. Mandatory training for all new Estates volunteers as well as potential volunteers are welcome.
