Spider-Man's darker costume that slithers to commingle over Topher Grace's Eddie Brock in '09s "Spider-Man 3" rendition of Venom lends an ominous turn for darker natures to manifest. "The Amazing Spider-Man" set to release in '12s June 3 has so far by teaser trailer and now a movie poster bodes a gloomier tone overall for the Peter Parker web-spinning personal tragedy into a heroic recourse.
The poster doesn't shed a cool perspective, or have the edge to catalyze Spider-Man fans to lose their cool over their fervency for one of not-too-distant next year's bevy of comic book films.
Andrew Garfield isn't under the shadow of the film. He leads it. A momentum taken during a panel speech at last summer's San Diego Comic Con. Silhouette form as Garlfield clings, the shadow of the inevitable insignia evokes the power many late '90s and millennial cover art in comics has come to lend. Film wise, there's the strength both Batman franchises - Burton and Nolan projects - were able to deliver to a movie savvy public.
