Most people who have been through boot camp will love to discuss how hard the experience was. They tell of yelling drill instructors, early morning runs, pushups and other challenges. And the regimentation is never easy.

But after people complete their service, another big challenge often appears; finding a job. Many veterans complain it is hard to find work. Now, a new program is addressing this problem. Edge4Vets is helping South Florida veterans join the workforce. Nearly 20 veterans completed an Edge4Vets at Florida Atlantic University. A new workshop will begin on February 25. And those who complete the program are guaranteed an interview by Carnival Corp. if the veteran submits a resume with a match for an existing opening, according to an article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the February 1 Sun Sentinel.
