Edge Prep wins again at World Sports School Challenge

According to the Edge School website, Edge Prep improved to 2-0 at the 2013-14 World Sports School Challenge on Saturday with a 3-2 victory over the Delta Hockey Academy at Calgary's Markin MacPhail Arena.

Edge Prep, which is based out of the community of Springbank, approxiomately 10 minutes west of Calgary across from Calaway Park, got goals from Quinn Mosby, Konner Haas and Hayden Ursulak. With the victory, the Mountaineers improved to 2-0 and are tied with the mighty Shattuck St. Mary's on top of the World Sports School Challenge standings. Shattuck St. Mary's trounced OHA Prep 11-1 on Saturday.

Edge Prep will next play the Banff Hockey Academy on Sunday, with the other games slated to be OHA Prep versus Delta and Shattuck St. Mary's versus the Swiss International Sports and Education Centre.

Shattuck St. Mary's is the class of the field. Based in Minnesota, their alumni includes National Hockey League superstars Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks.
