Edge Prep remains unbeaten at World Sports School Challenge

According to the Edge School website, Edge Prep remained undefeated at the 2013-14 World Sports School Challenge in boys hockey with a 4-1 victory over the Banff Hockey Academy on Sunday at Calgary's Markin MacPhail Centre.

Taro Hirose led Edge Prep in scoring with a goal and two assists for three points. Charlie Marchand and Tanner Rhodes also recorded a multi-point game as they each notched a goal and an assist for two points. Austin Ehret also scored for Edge Prep.

With the victory, Edge Prep improves to 3-0 and are tied on top of the standings with Shattuck St. Mary's.

Shattuck St. Mary's meanwhile absolutely clobbered the Swiss International Sports and Education Centre by a whopping score of 14-0. Anthony Petrella led the way with four goals and one assist.

The action in the tournament continues in Calgary on Monday with Delta playing Banff andthe SISEC playing the OHA.
