According to KFTV on Jan. 15, it appears that Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" film will first start shooting in Atlanta, Ga. Pinewood Studios is the company that will be host of the project and filming will begin in May. The location consists of five sound stages which accumulates to a total of 100,000 square feet and a combined workshop space and a production office that equates to around 300,000 square feet.

The studio is specifically located south of the capital in the city of Fayetteville but most of the filming will mostly take place in Atlanta. It was once thought that Wright would start shooting the film in the United Kingdom, however, it seems that studio space in that area had filled up rather quickly due to generous tax incentives. That being said, Georgia also offered a generous tax break to those who filmed in their location as well.

Paul Rudd had been cast as Scott Lang and Kirk Douglas had recently been announced to take on the role of Hank Pym, the creator of the Ant-Man character.

Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2015.
