There was hardly an empty seat in the MGM Theater on Friday night, February 15th as Foxwoods guests awaited the appearance of Eddie Izzard. The anticipation was so high, that it is probably safe to say that not a single attendee minded that the show started a fashionable fifteen minutes late. The dull sounds of the audience blabbering away was instantly broken when Izzard took the stage and replaced with cheering and applause.
Although some years have passed since Izzard's last transvestite costume appearance, he was still visually and audibly appealing. Izzard began the show by talking about taxi drivers an healthy egos, and later continued with his usual historical bits. He also paid homage to veteran skits such as "Darth Vader", and of course, "Cake or Death?," which left guests cheering for more.
