Eddie Cibrian cast as lead in 'Playboy'; filming in Chicago

Eddie Cibrian of "CSI" fame has been cast as the lead in NBC's drama "Playboy," which is expected to film in Chicago.

Cibrian will be playing Nick Dalton, an attorney in Chicago; Keyholder at the exclusive Playboy club; and yes, "the ultimate playboy." Cibrian is perhaps most recently well-known in the tabloids for his relationship with LeAnn Rimes, in which he and Rimes both famously left their spouses for each other. Perhaps capitalizing on the scandal, NBC decided to cast Cibrian in the role instead of Jeff Hephner, who was originally cast in the role until the pilot's table read.

"Playboy" is set in 1963. Cibrian is expected to begin filming in Chicago this Tuesday, March 15. Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville is presuambly happy about Cibrian's new acting gig as she has been recently quoted saying: "He needs a job." What do you think of the recasting of "Playboy"?
