Edamam launches vegan and vegetarian apps

Now you can search for vegan and vegetarian recipes right in an Android or iOS app.

Edamam has debuted some new apps for the health and lifestyle market. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, you will love these offerings.

These are vegan and vegetarian recipe search apps for both Android and iOS, and they also include enhanced diet filters, including some for gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free.

Even though times have changed, it still can be tough for a vegan or strict vegetarian to get variety in their diet.

"Answering the daily question of what to cook and eat grows daily in significance, as people realize the impact food has on their health and well-being. We simply help answer this question in an easy and intuitive manner by leveraging the power of technology," said Victor Penev, Edamam’s CEO.

Edamam has put a lot of research in looking at food and nutrition data. In total, it has analyzed over 1.5 million recipes from the top food sites. Users can search by a variety of criteria.

These are new Vegan and Vegetarian apps, from Edamam. The apps and the enhanced Recipe Search app are free and available on iTunes and Google Play.

Edamam, has long been a company that helps people eat better and live healthier and happier lives.
