This wasn't the typical performance that people suffer through to find out the winner on a reality show. In fact, it was one of the best of the evening and offered a glimpse of how Ed Sheeran can really work his vocal magic to match other artists. He has sung with other entertainers like Taylor Swift and always seems to find the perfect balance for the best moment.

According to Hollywood Life on Tuesday, Ed Sheeran didn't just sing with “The Voice” contestant, he also took the stage for a solo performance. Offering a first listen of his brand new song “Sing” from his upcoming album, the fans actually got to hear the star twice (and it was double the delight.)

The show offered several wonderful performances from already established artists to share in the excitement of the show. Social media talked up all the performances, but it appeared that Ed Sheeran’s segment was one of the best of the night.

Christina Grimmie didn't win “The Voice” and her fans had to be surprised. She has increased her visibility in the music business and given people a reason to follow her career. As fans of the reality shows know, this is just a step in her career and it doesn't seal her fate by any means.
