Ed Sheeran is currently on tour across America and on the morning of January 30 he stopped by for a in-studio interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in New York City. During the interview they talked to him about all the time he's spent in America recently as well as spending much of the year in the U.S. on Taylor Swift's Red Tour. Ed also revealed that he actually plans on buying a place in the states very soon.
"I'm actually moving to the states for a little bit," Ed told Elvis Duran when asked about spending time in America. "I'm getting a place here."
Ed then revealed he's moving to Tennessee because it's a nice place to relax for him.
"To be honest I love New York, but it's too similar to London for me," Ed said. "Like I still don't own a place in London, I own a place in the countryside in England because I like having that escape."
"I wouldn't want to be in the city that whole time and LA is cool but you find a lot of douche-bags there," he added. "I rather be surrounded by people in cowboy hats that spit tobacco and talk to you about random things."
Ed Sheeran's current tour across America stops by 1st Bank Center in Broomfield on February 5.
