Ed Sheeran has revealed that he's pretty much done with his highly anticipated second album, which will not be out until 2014. Ed says that he had a different kind of inspiration for this album and a bit more happier than his previous album.
"Yeah pretty much finished it to be honest," Ed told MTV News in a new interview released on February 19. "I think it's always healthy to have time."
Ed has previously said that he will remain true to the sound fans have come to expect from him but overall it will be a happier album than his debut.
"I've had a different inspiration on this record obviously I haven't had the same experiences it will be different," Ed continued. "But only from the senses it won't be tackling such dark matters."
"Maybe it will, maybe something really bad will happen within the next nine months and I'll write about that. It's a bit of a happier album, I think... some of the songs are happy," he added.
Ed Sheeran plans on moving to America this year as he hits the road with Taylor Swift this summer and will stop by Pepsi Center in Denver.
