Ed Sheeran announces North American headlining tour dates

On April 14 English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announced headlining tour dates for the late summer and early fall of 2014 on his official Facebook page. The North American tour begins Aug. 22 in Seattle, and ends Sept. 18 in Toronto, Ontario. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.

During Ed Sheeran's late summer of 2014 headlining tour he will perform 15 concerts around the U.S. and Canada over a month long time span. More tour dates are expected to be added at a later date. He will be touring in support of his upcoming second studio album, "x" which is set to be released on June 23. It will be his first full length studio album released since 2011.

The lead single from his upcoming album is a entitled "Sing," and you can listen to that song here. Tickets for the announced dates go on sale to the general public beginning April 25.
