Ed Boon has provided a brief response in regards to the confusion surrounding the release dates of "Batman Arkham Knight" as well as the rumored sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us." According to a report from Den of Geek on April 29, a fan asked the director if a second installment of the series is currently in development. The game director responded by jokingly stating that the development team would call the video game "Injustice: Gods Among Us Too."

Although Ed Boon did not exactly confirmed the existence of the sequel, a report from Furious Fan Boys suggested that representatives at DC Comics apparently disclosed that the software product is in production during a recent event. The announcement was apparently made during a panel at Wonder Con. However, the attendees couldn't hear the statement due to the loud cheers, which resulted in some of them believing that "Batman Arkham Knight" was being delayed until 2015.

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" came out last year for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and mobile platforms. The video game was developed at NetherRealm Studios, the same company responsible for the "Mortal Kombat" reboot that came out in 2011. Based on the release patterns of past titles, their next video game won't be coming out until next year. The same studio is also rumored to be developing another game for the "Mortal Kombat" franchise.

The aforesaid "Batman Arkham Knight" appears to be still set for a fall release later this year. The sequel takes advantage of the new PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems by exponentially expanding the size of the open-world environment. The Batmobile has also been added and can be summoned at any time while outside. You can find a screen of the vehicle from the official Facebook page of the series with the image attached near the top of this article. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is the publisher of the "Batman Arkham Knight" and "Injustice: Gods Among Us" video games. You can also reserve the comic book game from Amazon in the proceeding link: “Batman Arkham Knight.”
