Twilight: Eclipse cutie Kristen Stewart says the toughest part of being an actress isn't memorizing lines, but getting sore feet from wearing high heels all the time on the red carpet.
'MY FEET HATE ME'
"I feel like my feet are really p*ssed off at me, just because of the shoes," Stewart, 20, told People at the June 25 premiere of her indie flick, Welcome to the Rileys, in L.A.
The previous evening (June 24), Kristen had walked the red carpet at the star-studded world premiere of Twilight: Eclipse with co-stars Robert Pattinson, 24, and Taylor Lautner, 18.
Painful feet are no laughing matter. In fact, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was reportedly advised to undergo foot surgery after developing bunions as a result of wearing high heels all the time.
'I GET HYPER AT NIGHT'
In addition to aching feet, Stewart says insomnia is another occupational hazard of being an actress.
"By the end of the day I actually get really hyper, because it's then that I have my own time," Kristen explains. "You end up staying up all night and then screwing your morning the next day because you need time to yourself."
Stewart, who plays a teenage prostitute in the somber drama Rileys, says the role was draining and a major departure from her Twilight character. "The subject matter was a lot sadder and emotionally distraught than I've ever had to deal with," she recalls. "It's sort of the lowest of the low that I've ever had to go."
Meanwhile, Kristen, who recently came under fire for comparing her dealings with intrusive paparazzi as akin to "being raped," is jet-setting around the world to promote Eclipse before filming its sequel, Breaking Dawn. [Warning: **spoilers ahead**]
KRISTEN PREPS FOR INTENSE SCENES IN BREAKING DAWN
In Breaking Dawn, which is being broken into two separate films, Stewart's character Bella loses her virginity, gets pregnant and has a baby in a graphic and bloody childbirth scene.
“Right after she and Edward sleep with each other for the first time, she says, ‘Oh, f**k, I might want to be human for a little bit longer,’” says Kristen. “The baby is just an even more intense version of [no longer being human].”
