Anna Marie Gutierrez, Owner of Shop Devious an eclectic boutique sells vintage clothing, recycled garments, accessories and WIGS. The boutique is outside the traditional downtown area on Grand Avenue. At Shop Devious you will find: jeweled eyelashes, china-doll wigs, cool stockings, hairpieces and artsy clothing. There is a men’s section featuring men’s gently used clothing, shoes, belts and hats. The space is cool and funky, decorated with vintage signs and frames. Shop Devious has been locally owned & operated for 12 years with a large online wig sale customer base.
Vision
Anna Marie’s vision of her boutique on Grand Avenue and Phoenix is to be seen “as the fashion spot”, and to help talented people get seen and to help others. Her passion for helping others around the valley is depicted through her clothing donations, free makeovers, and money donations to Charities and Non-profits. She just began a campaign to “Keep Grand in Fashion”, and clean up Grand Avenue by picking up garbage, paint buildings full of graffiti or abandoned, while lifting the communities morale. When asked what she loves most about her job, she simply responds, “I get to play everyday”.
Fashion, Computer Repair and more
Anna Marie & Andrew Brooke are merging fashion with computer repair. Andrew shares space with Shop Devious and provides low-cost computer and website repair. Andrew is an honest to goodness computer genius and a true gentleman. If you are lucky you will find a refurbished computer for sale under two hundred dollars. Shop Devious is also offering “Shared Retail Space” to emerging fashion designers and crafty artist entrepreneurs on a weekly basis with a three month contract.
“Fashion is a canvas for all self expression”, said Anna Marie, Owner, Shop Devious. What started as an online Wig Store has grown to a boutique on Grand Avenue still offering violet, purple and natural shade wigs. The vintage and gently used designer garments, shoes, purses and jewelry are priced lower than most thrift shops. At Shop Devious the customer service is outstanding, the prices are low, the selection is wide-spread and the vibe is absolutely positive and upbeat. "Shop Devious".
