I am a foodie fan of Chicago, but some places deserve coal in their stockings and emails from Nigeria no matter how good their food tastes.
All employees of Snarf's Sub Shop at 600 W. Chicago in Chicago were fired by email the Sunday before Christmas. The company is based in Colorado and has sub shops in other locations around the country. The email explained that the shop hopes to reopen in Chicago someday. Meanwhile there is always unemployment -- or is there GOP?
Merry Christmas Snarf. I hope public outrage will keep you from reopening in Chicago. If you treat employees with such contempt, how do you treat your food?
The City of Broad Shoulders has plenty of restaurants with heart and spirit. We don't need Snarfs. We don't want you. North Korea would be a good place to relocate -- and if you answer those emails from Nigeria you will have plenty of expansion money.
