Since late 2010, eBay has been helping its customers find really good deals every day of the year with its Daily Deals. Many trusted top-rated eBay sellers showcase items through this promotion. Items such as cameras, clothing, and generators are featured each day at prices that are 20% to 90% off the regular price. In addition to the significant markdowns, each Daily Deal is shipped free of charge to the buyer.
The Daily Deals items are featured in a special area on the site. eBay starts each day at 8:00am PST by adding four new deals to the ones that have not sold out yet. Once an item sells out, another item is offered in its place. The products offered come in limited quantities. When the sale item is close to selling out, the listing will be marked with an “Almost Gone” banner. When the item is sold out, the banner is changed to one marked “Done Deal”. The deals can sell out quickly so you will have to act fast if you see an item you want.
The listings included in the Daily Deals are fixed-price listings and not auctions. The price shown for the item is the amount the buyer pays. There is no waiting for an auction to end and the item begins its trip to the buyer as soon as the purchase is completed.
The Daily Deals is a great way to purchase items from your personal wish list or for finding inventory for your eBay or Amazon store. eBay offers a Daily Deals alert to let you know what is being offered each day.
