Have you ever noticed the eBay Green logo on category pages, item description pages, or any where else on eBay, and wondered exactly what it means? Launched in 2007, the eBay Green Team is a group of employees and sellers dedicated to raising awareness through sustainable shopping. The global team has grown to over 2,500 eBay employees and more than 300,000 members of the eBay community.

The eBay Green Team is made up of members in over 25 countries around the world. The team promotes awareness of environmental issues as well as best practices on eBay. The eBay Instant Sale program is a function of Green Team thinking. (eBay Instant Sale is a program focused on reusing and recycling electronics.) The eBay reusable box program also came from The Green Team as an effort to make shipping easier and greener.

eBay is the world's largest online marketplace for used, recycled, refurbished, and vintage items and eBay sees many opportunities for promoting a greener lifestyle through educating its millions of members. Many people making small changes can result in big changes and a positive impact on our environment. Visit this link to buy green on eBay, or visit this link to sell green on eBay.
