eBay Deals iPhone app released in time for Black Friday

eBay releases a new app the week of Black Friday, what a coincidence... Photo: Creative Commons

eBay Deals is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch released just yesterday.  It is available for free on iTunes and promises to give you the best deals on eBay, just in time for the holiday season and Black Friday in particular.

The app shows you a multitude of things for sale that are bargains on the actual eBay website.  The items are broken up into several subcategories, but you can also do a broad search to find what you want.  The app is pretty easy to use, and has practically no learning curve.

Once you find the item you want, you can put a bid in on it, or buy it immediately.  The “Daily Deals” category is not yet functioning insofar as being able to buy the item, but you can still view it.  The “Daily Deals” will be fully operational soon enough so be patient, it will be worth it.  These are where the best deals are, as well as the items that guarantee free shipping.

Here is a video explaining eBay Deals as well as a brief demo for the app:

All in all, eBay Deals is a great app for eBayers.  It has a multitude of great value through items for sale as well as auctions that have under four hours left and no bids.  This can allow any eBay user to find a hidden gem anytime they need to.  I recommend eBay Deals because it is free, and once it is fully functional, will be a great app to have, for anyone that does business on eBay.  Not only that, eBay deals will be a great way to find bargains during the holiday season when there are sales and purchases aplenty.

    What do you mean

I dont get you say you can buy it immediately then the next sentence you say its not working in that you can't buy the item. Can you please clarify

    Hey Fruity,

To make it clearer, I meant that you can buy the other things but not the "Daily Deals" on the app yet. That will come to the app soon but for now you'll have to find it on the phone and get it to your computer.
