This is not a fad. The pyramid is the suggested amounts of food to consume from basic food groups, subgroups

and oils to help you meet recommended nutrient intakes of calorie levels. The chart has calorie levels set across a

wide range to meet the needs of different individuals. Go to for this estimate of daily calorie needs.

While following the guide you can measure your serving amounts to get the correct servings amounts. So far in one

month I have lost 25 lbs. Exercise is easy when you do at least 30 to 60 minutes per day as a part of life not a

chore. Set a small goal. Start out with 30 minutes to gradually reach 60 minutes in a month. I have 50 lbs more to

go. Let’s do this.

May 1996 Michael Hebranko lost 700 lbs. He was 1000 lbs. He was so large there was a 10 by 5 foot whole

dug out to remove him from his home. A stretcher was also used. He was transferred to an ambulance by fork lift.

He had heart disease, respiratory ailments, and skin infections in his legs. He could not stand more than 30

seconds. This is not funny, it is a disease. Many of us have weight problems not this large. Weight gain can creep

up to large amounts little by little; year by year to 20 lbs will soon be 40 to 100 lbs. It takes time to get it off. A

plateau for 6 months is what I had. Even though I exercised daily; I had to eat the correct portions to reach a small

goal of 20 lbs in 3 weeks. Getting help from a nutritionist is the best thing I could have done. I will soon post my
