Food trucks and other food vendors served up delicious meals during the Eat Real Festival on September 27-29, 2013 at the Jack London Square in Oakland, CA. Over 50 food vendors were present serving different cuisines from savory to sweet. Music and other entertainment were also provided while the attendees were enjoying their food. A kids zone was also setup for kids to have fun as well.
Several Bay Area food trucks were on the scene to serve up local favorites dishes. Koja Kitchen, a Korean-Japanese fusion food truck, served its award-winning tacos. The popular Chairman Bao food truck was busy serving its delicious steamed buns with pork or chicken fillings. Hapa SF, a Filipino food truck, ran out of its popular lumpias disappointing some people who lined up for them.
Other food vendors were represented as well. Homeroom, an Oakland restaurant, were serving its delicious Gilroy Mac, a macaroni and cheese with garlic. Tante's Catering were serving spinach knish and corn dogs.
A few wineries and breweries were also at the festival as well as local coffee roasters. Purity and other vendors served non-alcoholic drinks such as water, juices, and coconut water.
