Eat like a model: Apple porridge

I'm not going to tell you about cutting carbs, calories or fat. I am simply insisting that there are foods out there that taste like candy which are healthier than what you are eating on a regular basis--including your diet food.

Here is your breakfast--you can thank me later.

Apple Porridge

4-5 ingredients

Directions: Take everything and mix them up in a big ol' bowl.

1/2 cups Plain non-fat yogurt

1 cup apple sauce (read the label and make sure there is no high fructose corn syrup)

1/4 cup grape nuts cereal

cinnamon (to taste)

3 drops of honey (optional)

Just to name a few benefits of this deliciousness, you can look forward to getting vitamin C, probiotics (check your yogurt to make sure), calcium, vitamin B-12, vitamin B-6, niacin, folic acid, vitamin E and a ton of other goodies.

One thing I do believe in sticking to simple unaltered food items as much as possible. In other words, avoid processed foods. Trust me, I know what you are thinking--impossible!!! I used to think like that too. Now it is my hobby to find simple recipes, made from basic ingredients that taste like bits of heaven in a bowl and keep me looking like a supermodel.
