Eat, drink and be merry: Compassion over killing comedy benefit night

If you are searching for a night of titillating tastes and lots of laughs, all the while knowing that you are contributing to a worthy cause, mark your calendar for Thursday, November 11, when Compassion Over Killing and Chef Tony will partner to present Kaleidoscope Comedy Troupe.

Chef Tony will offer his regular menu items as well as a new, clearly-labeled, expanded vegan menu, all made with fresh produce from local farmers. Chef Tony, born in Milan, Italy and raised in Bethesda has been in the restaurant business for 23 years. His motto is  keep it simple, with high quality ingredients.

Kaleidoscope Comedy Troupe is a cooperative comedy group, whose goal is to offer comedy to many venues. Ranging from improv to impersonations and presenting diverse and stimulating comedians, there will be something to bring a smile or outright, prolonged laughter to everyone.

Compassion over Killing, a non profit animal advocacy group, whose mission is to stop agricultural animal abuse and to create a kinder world for humans and nonhumans by eating vegetarian, will receive a portion of the vegan menu and ticket proceeds.

Tickets are on sale now for $10. Space is limited.
