Easy peanut butter chocolate pudding recipe

My youngest son is always begging for pudding so I always try to keep some on hand.  It's such an easy dessert to make.  You can prepare it right before the meal and by the time you're done eating it will be set and ready to serve.  It's fun to shake it up a bit and do something a little different.  This pudding recipe is so easy!  It incorporates the crumb mixture from my Peanut Butter Pie Recipe.  A guaranteed family hit!

Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Pudding

For the pudding:

1 large box Jello chocolate instant pudding

3 c. cold milk

4 TBS. Jif peanut butter, crunchy or creamy

Mix the pudding mix and milk together.  Refrigerate until set.   When set dish into four serving bowls.  Spoon 1 tablespoon of peanut butter into each serving dish with the pudding and stir.  Microwave each dish on high for 35 seconds. 

For the topping:

1/4 c. Jif peanut butter, crunchy or creamy

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

4 large dollops of Cool Whip

Crumb together the peanut butter and powdered sugar.  Spoon Cool Whip onto each pudding serving.  Sprinkle with peanut butter topping crumbs.  Serves 4.
