With the Christmas holiday a week away, now begins the scramble for finding last minute gifts for those you do not know what to get and for those deserving of a nice, inexpensive gift. Homemade gifts, just by being homemade, are always special because of the time, effort, and thought required to get the gift together. Some homemade gifts are easier to make than others and below is a recipe for a gift that is always a crowd-pleaser and extremely easy to make. This Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix takes ten minutes to prepare and can be given to others in plastic bags tied with ribbon or even mason jars (12/$8.99 at Publix) decorated with fabric or tissue paper. The best part about this recipe is that you can get very creative with it by adding in marshmallows and crushed candy canes.
