Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kick-off to summer, and with summer comes a slew of opportunities for casual and outdoor entertaining. It’s time to haul out the deck chairs and fire up the grill. And of course, it’s also time for a quick, easy, and refreshing cocktail that makes entertaining easy.
And that’s where Lynchburg Lemonade comes in. It’s a classic Jack Daniels cocktail, named for the distillery’s hometown in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Whether you’re making just one cocktail or need drinks for a crowd, this could be just the go-to summer cocktail you’ve been looking for.
- 1 part Jack Daniels whiskey
- 1 part sweet & sour
- 1/2 part triple sec
- 4 parts lemon-lime soda
Pour the whiskey, sweet & sour and triple sec into a punchbowl over ice, and top off with lemon-lime soda. Stir well. Serve garnished with lemon slices and maraschino cherries.
