Easy Eight's Billiards to host 1st annual Texas Tornado 9-Ball Open

Easy Eight's Billiards and Sports Bar, located at 4901 Expressway 83, Suite 150 in McAllen, TX, is hosting their 1st annual Texas Tornado 9-ball Ope from May 9-11. This tournament will feature 9-ball on 8' tables, with a special women's tournament beginning on Saturday the 10th.

Format and details of the tournament:

Location: Easy Eight's Billiards and Sports Bar

4901 Expressway 83, Suite 150, McAllen, TX

$10,000.00 guaranteed will be added to the prize pool.

Main Event:

Entry Fee: $70.00 ($10.00 Green Fee Included)

Matches will be played on 16 4x8 Diamond Tables.

Race to 7 winners side, with race to 7 on the one loss side.

Alternating break, rack your own.

Sign-ups are valid until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 9.

There will also be a Calcutta to follow at 9 p.m..

Play will continue on Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m..

Women's Event: May 10-11

$1,000.00 guaranteed minimum will be added to the prize pool.

Entry Fee: $50.00 ($10.00 Green Fee Included).

Sign-ups will be until 5 p.m. on May 10.

Play will start on Saturday at 6:00 p.m., and continue on Sunday at 11 a.m..

Race to 7 winners side, and race to 5 on losers side.

Alternating break, rack your own.

There will be a dress code enforced (collared shirts, no shorts, no sandals, and no sweat pants).
