Try out this budget friendly recipe! This recipe was generated in the mid-west in the 1970’s!
Chili
- 1-1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 2 cans (15 oz.) kidney beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz.)
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 or 2 Tsp. chili powder
- ¼ cup onion, chopped (fresh or frozen)
Brown ground beef.
Rinse beans and add to beef.
Add tomatoes, sauce, chili and onions.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Tips: You can eat this chili just as it is or sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. You can also put over spaghetti for chili-mac. It can also be placed over hot dogs.
