The patrons on day two of the Pasadena Strawberry Festival were treated to the usual fare; a carnival rides, food and drink, and barbecue; and were entertained in the evening concert by country music favorite Easton Corbin.

Corbin took to the stage inside the Pasadena Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena on Saturday, May 17, 2014 to entertain county music fans from around the Houston metropolitan area.

The 32-year old performer from Trenton, Florida played to a packed arena and kept the music fans dancing, jumping up and down, and singing along to their favorite songs.

Corbin performed songs from his two albums, including “All Over the Road,” “Roll with It,” “I Can’t Love You Back,” and “Lovin’ You Is Fun.”

The American Country Awards honored Corbin in 2010 with the award for “Music Video by New/ Breakthrough Artist” for his video “A Little More Country Than That” and the “New Breakthrough Artist of the Year.”

He also entertained the fans with arrangements by other performers to showcase his diversity and talent.

The warmup act for Corbin was up and coming country music singer Bri Bagwell.

The 26-year old singer, from Las Cruces, New Mexico, was contestant on CMT’s Next Superstar in 2011, and entertained the crowd to her signature sounds, including “Whiskey” and Midnight Hour.”

Those in attendance were excited about the appearance of Easton, and stated so during the concert.

Crystal Pennington, from Humble, Texas, expressed her excitement when questioned during the festival:

“The Strawberry Festival is so cool. I have lived herein Houston my whole life and have never come. Add to the fact that I love Corbin Easton, and I could not stay away. I am glad my friends talked me into coming.”

The festival continued on Sunday May 18 with barbecue cook-off awards, carnival rides and the children’s petting zoo.
