Bangor--- Thursday is class D semifinal day at the Bangor Auditorium.
The girls get things started when the second seed Schenck Wolverines take on the third seeded Hodgdon Hawks at 2 p.m.
Schenck (16-4) defeated Central Aroostook 69-25 in the preliminary round and Jonesport-Beals 53-31 in the quarterfinals.
Hodgdon (16-4) defeated East Grand 67-33 in the preliminary round and Van Buren 51-41 in the quarterfinals.
The number one seed and undefeated Washburn Beavers will take on Machias at 3:30 p.m
Machias (15-4) defeated Easton 53-45 in the preliminary round and Fort Fairfield 53-49 in the quarterfinals.
Washburn (19-0) defeated Limestone 65-44 in the quarterfinals. The closest contest for the Beavers during the regular season was a 67-55 victory over Fort Kent.
