The Tenth Life, Dayton’s largest no-kill cat rescue is again offering Mehaffie’s pies for only $9 for your Easter dinner needs (specialty pies are $10 each) Orders (with payment) should be at The Tenth Life by this Saturday, Apr 5, 2014. If you miss this deadline, please call The Tenth Life (937) 376-5550) with your order, and they will accommodate your request from the extras that they order. The Tenth Life does order extras of most flavors, but pre-ordering guarantees that you will get the flavors that you want. Pie flavors include apple, cherry, peach, Dutch apple, pecan, blueberry, coconut cream and chocolate cream, although any pie currently made by Mehaffie’s can be ordered. Each pie purchased nets a $3 profit for the cats at the all-volunteer shelter; you can view and print out an order form here although a check accompanied by a hastily scribbled note indicating which flavor of pies you want is also acceptable!

Pies will be available for pick-up at The Tenth Life on Apr 19 from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., and there will be also be a bake sale at The Tenth Life during that time period. A large selection of 2-3 dozen varieties of baked goods will be available in exchange for whatever monetary donation you think is a fair price

If you would like to donate items to the bake sale, please bring your donation to The Tenth Life on Friday evening, Apr 18 from 4 – 7 p.m.or after 9:30 a.m.Saturday morning.
