In the thaw of winter, Easter peaks around the corner. The kids have been cooped up in the house and are ready to get out in the sun and look for those bright colored eggs before the great celebration of Easter Sunday. With many area churches and communities having their annual Easter egg hunts, here are four Easter egg hunts that are a “must hit” this holiday season.

Enjoy a day at the farm with the kids. Easter Spectacular is more than just an Easter egg hunt. It is a day of adventure with wagon rides, hiking, live music and lunch with the Easter bunny. This amazing park also features a lake with a boat house, canoeing and kayaking. Plan for a great day with fantastic family photos.

Young’s Dairy is famous for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt and a lovely day at the farm. With over 4,000 hard boiled and dyed eggs, they are about the only egg hunt around that gets back to the basics with real eggs. Barnabe will be there to cheer on the kids to gather as many eggs as possible. This Easter hunt moves forward through rain or shine, because that’s a lot of spoiled eggs if cancelled. The day wouldn’t be complete without exploring the whole farm. From jersey cows to the new play area, there are sure to be smiles from the kids.

Let the kids experience Easter on the rails while having lunch with the Easter bunny. Winding through the rails of Lebanon will satisfy the Thomas the Train frenzy and create a relaxing event for the parents.
